About the Journal

The Journal of Social Innovation and Development (JSID) focuses on publishing original research articles that examine social innovation processes and their relationship with economic, social, and political development.

We welcome quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method studies, as well as theoretical frameworks and comparative case studies that make substantive contributions to the literature.

The journal is particularly interested in:
• Innovations in public services, health, education, and sustainability.
• Social entrepreneurship and its economic impact.
• New models of public–private cooperation.
• Social transformations driven by technology and inclusion policies.
• Impact assessments of development policies.

JSID positions itself as an interdisciplinary and global forum for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.
